Surface Candy create unique hand decorated wooden knobs to add colour, style and fun to your home. From traditional to colourful, retro to floral, fun to personal, and plenty more in between.

Surface Candy came from a love of recycling furniture. The knobs are ways to add your personality to a piece of furniture. The perfect finish for putting the fun into functional.

Surface Candy is a full time workshop and studio designing and making the door knobs. Commissions can be undertaken too. If you have a particular theme or design in mind Surface Candy can make it for you. Furniture or door knobs can be made to order for your home using a simple brief, photos, drawings or scans.

The Face Behind The Business

I am the owner, founder, designer, maker and general all rounder behind Surface Candy.

Surface Candy evolved from my love of recycling furniture. I love saving old furniture and often they have broken handles and knobs. After experimenting with various ways and ideas I came up with my own unique range of knobs.

I am based in Norfolk and design and paint all the knobs in my studio and workshop there.

I believe every home should be as unique as the people that live there.

My knobs are perfect to add to all furniture, drawers, cupboards and doors. They are hand painted with a selection of colours and designs. But if you can’t find the perfect one I can always make one to your requirements.
