We design and make textile accessories, lovingly created by hand in Cornwall.
A lot of work goes into each piece, using quality materials, local suppliers, simple techniques and old Singer sewing machines.
The range includes bags, purses, pencil cases, tea towels, pictures, cushions, phone cases, badges and tea cosies. We have a very big range!
The designs have been lovingly inspired by the things that surround our every day…sea, animals, cycling, food, countryside, sewing and very importantly tea & cake.
We also love making personalised pictures and we have just added our new ranges of candles and lip balm.
Each piece is individually made with care and attention by our lovely team of stitchers in Cornwall.

Designer maker Poppy, founded Poppy Treffry in 2003. When she started, it was just her, a pile of fabric and a Singer sewing machine, in a very small workshop in Newlyn, a small fishing village. Poppy took on her first assistant, Briony, after a year of running her business and things have grown from there. Poppy still designs all of the products. Everything starts life as one of her stitched drawings. All of the products are stitched by hand by her team of outworkers in Cornwall.
“Drawing is my favourite thing in the world!” says Poppy. When she found she could turn her creations into stitched drawings she began to sew them into things people could use….purses, bags and tea cosies. People began to want them and so Poppy Treffry was born.
