The Face Behind The Business

For many years I lived in Indonesia where I exported furniture and handicrafts around the world. But in 2006 we experienced a number of natural disasters, including a 6.3 magnitude earthquake and a local volcanic eruption. These events forced my return to the UK.

Having returned here in 2008 I decided to use my extensive supplier network to supply products, many of which would never have been seen in the UK before, at a price to reflect the fact the item was obtained directly from the artisan producer, rather than a trading company, importer or wholesaler.

Today, I still continue to purchase directly from my local Indonesian supplier network, whether it be wood carvings from Bali, woven rattan bowls from Lombok or wooden ducks from Java.

But have now expanded my range with products from other overseas sources together with some additional items from selected UK suppliers which compliment my expanding range.

We have even created another web site offering original Tupperware from around the world called ‘Tupperwareworld’

I strive to continue to supply an extensive range of unique products with new additions on a regular basis, though this has proved difficult this year with the global shipping issues hitting us badly.

Our popular lines are now back in stock, while we have also been able to expand our selection of wood carved statues including the range of Buddha statues.
