After the Rainstorm – English Fine Bone China Mug

Heavy rain had followed a stretch of hot, dry weather and while the plants were desperate for the drink, the blooms were bruised. However, this isn’t a reason not to photograph them as the Dutch Masters were known to paint decay and imperfection. Each flower here has its own symbolism and in the complete limited edition photographic print, even the butterfly and empty scallop shell tells their own story.

Fine Bone China mugs made (not just decorated) in Staffordshire featuring a part of one of my photographs. Traditionally made and hand decorated, glazed and fired they are dishwasher and microwave safe. The only problem is deciding which one to go for. So far I’ve only produced five designs but I will be adding to the range – watch this space.

They each hold 325ml – a perfect sized cuppa!

There are also matching Melamine coasters that go beautifully with the mugs.
