Each one selling something completely different. It really is food glorious food.
I love a really good pâté and Patchwork Pâté is particularly delicious. This is the oldest of the shops I am sharing today. It was started in 1982 by Margaret Carter, who still runs it today. It began in her home kitchen.
Now, however, it has moved to it’s own premises, but everything is still hand-made in small quantities and with no artificial colouring, additives or preservatives, using Margaret’s original recipes.
They have a wide range from the more traditional to vegetarian and fish pâté. They are also now making a few other delights; mushroom marmalade, chilli jam, hummus and wonderful chutney. You will be very tempted!
If you love great quality food and drink, take a look at French Flavour.
As the name suggest, they sell lots of French food, but they also sell some not so French too. The food is sourced from artisan producers in both France and the UK. It all looks so lovely.
Their gift boxes look really special, a wonderful gift. I particularly like their “Box Delicious” monthly subscription, such a great idea.
One little surprise, all this is based in Wales!!
Would you like an easy way to cook wonderfully tasty meals, quickly? A Very Nice Idea will help you do just that.
They create meal kits full of the dry ingredients to make a particularly tasty meal. All you have to do is buy the fresh ingredients, add the kit and cook a really delicious recipe.
The savoury recipes include really tasty moroccan feast, falafel, tagine, Indian feast and pakora. The dessert or sweet recipes include bake-Off bundle, chocolate pudding, and sticky toffee pudding.
They all look so tasty, you can say you made it yourself (because you did!) and oh so easy. I think this is a brilliant idea.
Doing a tasty food shop roundup, without a sweet treat, would be absolutely wrong in my book. So here is the little bit of sweetness, we all love to eat and enjoy, so much. The Letterbox Bakery. Take a look at their website and enjoy!
This is treat heaven delivered through your letterbox!
Here are just some of the temptations; salted caramel brownies, millionaire slices, peanut butter flapjacks, white chocolate rocky road (my choice!!!) and chocolate teacake tiffin. Lots more besides.
Treat yourself or send them as a gift to some very lucky person!! (please let it be me)
I am writing this post mid morning. Now I am really hungry. My usual bowl of grapes don’t seem to be filling the gap. Taste buds are going crazy!
I love independent online shops. Each one is so different and unique. Such a great feel to them.
Did you like my collection? I would love to know what you think or if you know of any shops to add to this list.

Happy browsing, feeling hungry…and shopping! Plus of course eating.
There are lots more Favourite Finds to come. For future inspiration and to be one of the first to know about any offers, sales, giveaways or new products, join our VIP list. I will be happy to let you know via email.
Please be aware. All opinions in this blog post are mine. At the time of writing I have not received any payment or free samples from the shops mentioned. Though I mention lots of shops here, you must form your own opinion as to whether their products are for you and whether to shop with them.
I aim to include only independently owned shops. Sometimes it is tricky to work out if they are. So, as far as I can tell, they are independently owned, but apologies if the odd one that is not slips into my blog post….they hide it well!
