Ladies handbags. There is always a genuine reason why one bag is never enough. To match your outfit, practicality, variety, temptation etc.
I have 10 good reasons as to why we cannot have enough ladies handbags.
Well actually, I have 10 shops, each with a lovely range of ladies handbags. Each so gorgeous they are reason enough.
Such a lovely, genuine shop. I have shopped with them a couple of times and been really pleased with both their products and their customer service. Poppy Treffry design and make gorgeous textile gifts and accessories. Their machine embroidery is just lovely and so clever. Plus they have two very lovely shops in Cornwall. One day I will pop in! Such an amazing brand. If you have never looked at the Ruby Shoo shop you really need to. They have a “classic yet quirky” range of bags in fabrics to match they beautiful shoe collection. Samantha is the amazing designer behind Ruby Shoo and started her wonderful collection back in 2010. I love her bags (and shoes) and I am sure you will too. Featured here is their Riva bag in black and white stripe with a big red buckle and handle. Just lovely.
I really love the story behind this brand of bags. Alison, who created this lovely shop over 13 years ago, wanted to start a fair trade business with an emphasis on design and quality. She found a wonderful supplier who was able to create the ethical and gorgeous products she designed. Earth Squared are based in Edinburgh and their bags are in gorgeous fabrics. I admit to having a couple of their bags and love them. You can see the Taupe Lantern Backpack here.
I have been following the Alphabet Bags shop and their story for a number of years now. When they first opened their store in 2008 they had 26 bags each with a letter of the alphabet on. They have come a long way since then. As their about us page says “Alphabet Bags is an accessories brand creating lovely items with an emphasis on the simple, bold and cheerful”. They have definitely achieved that. I love their Embrace the Madness bag.
This gorgeous shop is full of accessories for you and your home, all inspired by the British countryside. Sam Wilson is a lovely designer creating all of these wonderful items in her studio in the Cotswolds. Her fabric designs are so beautiful. Included here is the lovely Owl and Feather canvas shopping bag.
A family business based in Shropshire they make bags and aprons using traditional craftsmanship. Made from strong canvas and a luxury leather trim they are a robust and versatile bag with a long list of uses. I love them. Featured here is the Pink Canvas and Leather Bag.
This is a design-led store who create products to keep up with the latest trends. Basing all of their designs around “simplicity is awesome”. I think they have achieved that with their bags. A range of tote bangs in a wide range of designs. I love this “But First Coffee” bag.
This is a London based design studio creating beautiful textiles and paper products, plus some wonderful keepsakes and kitchenware. I love all their designs – joyful is the best word to describe them. Their bags are a great way to show off their designs and will fill you with happiness. I love them all. Shown here is the Fill Me With Sunshine tote bag.
A store with a wide range of bags. From evening bags to beach bags. Lots of styles, lots of choice. The shop began when Lesley decided to create a shop focusing on providing outstanding choice and exceptional service. I love her choice of ranges. Shown here is the Suede Leather Saddle Bag.
The is a truly beautiful shop. Full of accessories for enjoying the outdoors. But their products are not the typical outdoor accessories. Take a look and you will see what I mean. Folksglove design with the vision that “outdoor goods can be both beautiful and useful”. Included here is the Very Useful Pouch in Dandelion print.
