I Pledge to Shop Independent : #ipledgeindie

Independent shops are amazing!  It is so important to shop with them.  Do you agree?

If so, my exciting new campaign is for you.

I will be sharing lots of UK independent shops, so we can all find them, share them and shop with them.  And you can share them too.

All kinds of shops, for all our shopping needs

We can help each other shop small, shop UK and shop independent, every single day.

I believe it is incredibly important to shop independent.  To think about, not only what we buy, but where we buy it from.

This is why I have launched the #ipledgeindie campaign.  To inspire and create awareness around the importance of shopping independent.

You can join in with #ipledgeindie campaign by:

1. Shopping with independent UK shops as much as you can

Online or in person, make the effort to seek them out.  Make them your automatic first choice.

2. Share independent shops

Share them online and use #ipledgeindie so we can all find them.

3. Share your pledge to shop independent

Share with your friends and followers the #ipledgeindie movement.  Encourage everyone to shop independent as much as they can.  It is so important, for all of us.

 

Take the pledge and join me on my conscious shopping journey.

I aim to shop independent as much as I possibly can, for all my shopping needs.

Whether it be dog food or clothes, a gift for a friend or wiper blades for my car (which I bought last week), herbal tea or my gin tipple, plus lots more besides.

I always look for the small business, the British owned, the one who deserves my custom, will appreciate every penny I spend with them and are experts in what they sell.  They care and give a personable customer experience.

Knowing I am giving them my money and ultimately supporting the UK economy, is the only way to shop.

Knowing they are excited, appreciative and pleased to get my order, is wonderful.

Independent shops are amazing from an economic perspective and from a bright future perspective.  What a soulless and dull future it would be without the passion, variety, uniqueness, expertise and genuine loveliness of independent shops.

Let’s keep them alive by giving them our money and not those who don’t deserve it.

My mission with Love Our Shops UK is to help everyone find independent UK shops online and inspire people to shop independent every single day.

Independent shops can be found on the high street and online.  I share the online ones on my directory and blog.  Many of those I share have bricks and mortar shops too.

Join the #ipledgeindie movement and shop independent as much as you can.  Whether it be online or on the high street.

The small shops will thank you for it, the UK economy will thank you and we will all thank you for keeping these shops alive.

Every week I share lots of independent shops on Instagram and Facebook.  You can easily find some brilliant independent shops on my directory and on my blog I am always sharing indie edits and adding to my UK online shops listing.
