I love being organised. However, my life never works out that way. Something always happens to mess up my plans. But I keep trying with my quest.
I have been looking for some products that will organise me in a way that requires very little effort and thought.
So if you want to get a bit more organisation into the mad, busy lives we live, here are a few things that will definitely help.
You get to design your own planner!! What is not to love about that? Designing is really easy. You get to design your front and back cover plus, the layout of the pages, text and photos for special dates, plus what pages to add at the back. But what I really love are the notebooks. You can design every single page inside. How brilliant. This fab company is based in Devon and they really are a great find. For some inspiration, their blog is worth a read and their inspiration gallery.
This is a really lovely store selling homewares, gifts and accessories. Such a wonderful range of gorgeous items. Type “storage” into the search field and so many useful things come up. My favourite is their wooden wall unit. The description says “it is the ultimate storage solution”, I have to agree. The idea for this store was conceived in Brighton by the founder Kelly Hart. Such a lovely shop.
I love the idea of having everything in it’s handy little place ready for use. I really must do this as it would save so much time and angst at not being able to find things. This utility bucket from Garden Trading is perfect. This great shop was setup in 1994 in Burford by Jon Holloway. His vision was to create a shop with products for the home and garden that were well designed, practical and classic. I think he has achieved this. So many great products.
I am so pleased I found this shop. Welcome to the colourful world of Red Candy. What started as a red only store it has now moved to a very colourful spectrum and I love it. Featured here is the seriously pink pineapple pen pot. It will bring some life to anyone’s desk. They have lots of great products so well worth a browse.
Based in a little studio in Lincolnshire this lovely shop sells a range of their own hand made products and carefully selected collections from others. Their idea is to have a range that adds the finishing touches, becomes a keepsake or helps celebrate family traditions. Such a beautiful vision. They have wide selection including the very practical Wire Mesh Memo Board which we have featured here. I definitely need one of these for my command centre (I so want to sort one of these out).
Can you fall in love with a planner? For those creatives amongst us who need some planning in their life, or even if you are not creative, I have just found this brand new product. Launched ready for 2018. The Busy Days planner. Comes with tape and stickers for extra creativity. Plus, you can add your own pages. Started in 2004 by Sarah Sadler who was a frazzled mum looking for a diary that actually had enough space for her to write everything down in. Boxclever press sell lots of planners, organisers and diaries. Spoilt for choice comes to mind.
Know anyone who has a lot of medals? This is the perfect gift for displaying them. And it isn’t just for runners. From Judo to running, cycling to triathlon and lots more besides. A wide range of competitions are catered for. Plus they can custom make one especially for you. A great idea created by a runner so that you can show how proud you are of your medals. Brilliant!
This shop make scenic wallpaper, plaques and prints. They also sell vinyl wall stickers, which includes a couple of brilliant products that will help you get organised. They have the week planner, the month planner and the year planner, all of which stick directly to the wall and are used with whiteboard pens so they are re-used again and again. Also another fab idea is the chalkboard style wall sticker. Take a look they really are very good. And if you want some inspiration for getting organised, just look at the picture of their studio on their about us page, so organised.
The perfect solution when you need somewhere to quickly jot down a note to self. Emmeline Simpson makes a wide range of gifts with British city designs on them. I have included here the Millennium Bridge magnetic board with such a lovely design. A perfect little gift.
Yes it really is a shop selling just hooks (and some knobs) but mostly hooks . What a brilliant collection for every room in the house. I have just decided I need way more hooks in my house. The scruffy pup one has definitely won me over. The shops owner is Victoria and clearly obsessed about hooks. But looking at this collection I can see why. I am now obsessed about them too!
I have enjoyed finding these shops. It is always a pleasure to tell you about these wonderful UK based independent shops.
Did you like my collection of independent online shops selling products to get you organised? I would love to know what you think or if you know of any shops to add to this list. Add your comments below.
Happy browsing…and shopping!
There are lots more Fabulous Finds to come. For future inspiration I will be happy to send you a little note to let you know when the next one has been created.
Please be aware. All opinions in this blog post are mine. At the time of writing I have not received any payment or free samples from the shops mentioned. Though I mention lots of shops here, you must form your own opinion as to whether their products are for you.
I aim to include only independently owned shops. Sometimes it is tricky to work out if they are independently owned. So as far as I can tell they are independently owned but apologies if the odd one that is not independently owned slips into my blog post….they hide it well.Tags: Gifts, Lifestyle, Shopping Inspiration, Shops, Stationery
