I can’t wait to share them with you.
Nothing like some gorgeous blooms to put a spring in your step or to bring back the feeling of summer.
This gorgeous online flower shop is based on a farm in Herefordshire, from which Heather (the founder) also runs her other brilliant shop, Wiggly Wigglers.
The Great British Florist sell mostly British grown flowers, some even grown in their own cutting patch.

Just browsing through this website will add to your day, so much loveliness. Plus, did you know dried flowers are now really popular. The Great British Florist do some gorgeous ones.
Such a fabulous name for a flower shop. Funky Bunch is home to beautiful faux flowers, foliage and plants.
Based in Surrey, this gorgeous shop is run by trained florists Fiona Lowe and Mary Jane Palmer, who met whilst studying their craft. They first started with fresh flowers, but soon realised there was a big demand for well made faux flowers.
So pleased they did, as their range looks so good.
Guess what the name of the owner of this shop is?! Freddie runs a subscription service flower shop. Simply order a weekly flower deliver and your freshly cut, beautiful flowers will arrive each week. Or monthly, or whatever timing you choose.
Life for his shop began in London in his parents garden. Now, his online flower delivery service, delivers flowers all over the UK, from the new HQ in an old station master’s house at Wandsworth Common station.
Gorgeous fresh flowers delivered to your door every week. Sounds perfectly lovely to me.
I think paper flowers are gorgeous and so clever. Paper Posies London have an amazing range. Oversized peonies, single stems, bouquets, flower walls, you name it, they make it. There are no boundaries with colour, size, shape, pattern or design. All made by hand in their London studio.
As Paper Posies say “there are no rules” to their floral creations. The ideas and designs are endless!! Every flower they create is unique and beautiful.
I have really enjoyed pulling this Favourite Finds together. I do love small, independent shops so it is always a pleasure to share them with you.
Do you know of any more independent online flower shops? Please feel free to share them with me either via my social media or email me, write me a letter (how novel would that be) or call me. All details are on my contact page. The links to my social media are at the top and the bottom of the page.
Flowers always brighten my day and add to a calm home. Other tips for a calm home are in an earlier blog post Favourite Finds for a Calm and Peaceful Home.
If you want to keep up to date with all that I share and for more inspiration, offers and finds, add yourself to my Lovely List and I will email you little updates. I don’t inundate with lots of emails (as I know how annoying that is). I just email you when I find something worth sharing, at the moment they are going out once every couple of weeks. But don’t worry you can easily unsubscribe at any time.
Happy browsing…and shopping!
Barbara
Please be aware. All opinions in this blog post are mine. At the time of writing I have not received any payment or free samples from the shops mentioned. Though I mention lots of shops here, you must form your own opinion as to whether their products are for you.
I aim to include only independently owned shops. Sometimes it is tricky to work out if they are. So, as far as I can tell, they are independently owned, but apologies if the odd one that is not slips into my blog post….they hide it well!
