Sea, sand, waves and maybe a bit of sunshine? Sounds perfect to me.
One of my favourite quotes is:
“The waves of the sea help me get back to me.” Jill Davis
And it is so true. A good walk on the beach is the best therapy. Whether it be rain or shine.
To get that “at the beach” feeling every day I have found 10 wonderful shops selling coastal themed products. So whether you are actually going to the beach or want to bring a little bit of the coast into your home, I think you will find some inspiration from these lovely online shops.
If you want to get that beach feeling, this is absolutely the shop to visit. As soon as you land on the website you will be in a holiday mood. I love this shop and their products. They sell things for your home, things for you and even a beach dog bowl for your pooch. It was hard to choose which one product to feature here, but I love the saying on their beach towel “Life is better in flip flops”. Oh so true.
I love how fun this shop is. Susie Mason started Gone Crabbing in 2008 and has created an imaginative range of clothing and gifts which depict our truly great British seaside heritage. These bright and contemporary designs are brilliant. I think you need to take a browse. I have included the fabulous Old Trout apron here but there are so many wonderful products I could have included them all. Kids clothing, baby clothing, adult clothing, home accessories, soap, stationery and so much more.
What do you need when you go to the seaside? Whatever your answer, The Seaside Company have it. Inflatables, towels, bags, blankets, windbreaks, carts and of course buckets and spades. I have just spotted in their store the best thing ever…a Collapsible Scrunch Bucket. I have never seen one of these before. What a fab idea. Buckets are always such a pain to pack.
Such a great shop for beach themed jewellery. Zoe, the shop owner, makes jewellery inspired by the sea. She also sell signs, prints, little home accessories and some lovely little gifts. But it was the jewellery that first attracted me. I love looking for sea glass when I am at the beach. The little bits of glass worn by the sea. If you have not combed the beach for them, you should, so relaxing and gratifying. This lovely shop sells a beautiful “My Little Seaglass” Necklace and I love it. So beachy, so worth a look!
Some really gorgeous designs in this shop. All are created using handcrafted lino-cut techniques. The range includes prints, stationery boxes, cards, notebooks and tea towels. They are all lovingly made by hand in a studio in Hertfordshire, The Lobster Pot. I have always loved lino prints so these are really up my street. The designs aren’t all coastal themed, I also love the dog designs and the pineapple print is pretty gorgeous too. But my favourite is the Coastal Crab Print with the words “Gone to the beach”.
What a lovely shop. So many lovely things I am not sure where to start. Started 10 years ago as a purely online business they now also have a couple of shops on the high street in Bude and Barnstaple, both beautiful places. The range has been inspired by the rolling hills of Dartmoor and the crashing waves of the North Devon coast. They have a wide range of products, not just coastal themed. Featured here is the Beach House Cushion which I love.
This shop is run by two sisters and shows their love for the British coast. Their collection is all around their love of unique designs too. Ones that start conversations, mark important events, invoke memories and celebrate the good things in life. I love this. The product that caught my eye was The Voice of the Sea – Acrylic Block. With original artwork from Oyster Moon and a wonderful quote “The voice of the sea speaks to the soul” Kate Chopin. But then I love seahorses so it was bound to be the one I chose. Lots of loveliness here!
If you are going to the beach, what do you wear? Plus what bag do you put everything in? This fabulous, award winning shop is a brilliant find. Not only does it have lots of swimwear for all shapes and sizes (and pockets) it also has a wide selection of gorgeous accessories. Which is where I confess my beach bag love. There are some gorgeous ones at Coco Bay. I really love the Seafolly Oversized Beach bag which looks pretty perfect to me.
Based in lovely Cornwall the creator of this lovely shop has wonderful childhood memories of the seaside. Which is why they created this wonderful collection of coastal inspired gifts and home accessories. So you could take the memories of being by the sea into your own homes. They really have brought together a lovely range. In particular I love this poster of the beaufort scale which shows the sea from calm to hurricane.
This is a brilliant little shop selling (you guessed it!) mugs. They have a number of different ranges all designed in house. You can also create your own design and they will turn it into a mug for you. The range I really love is their seaside range. They depict being at the seaside perfectly. Get that being at the beach feeling every morning when you have your good morning cuppa
I have absolutely loved pulling this collection of shops together. I am now in the holiday mood.
The beach is definitely my place to be, no matter what the weather. Plus these shops are all so gorgeous it has been a pleasure telling you about them.
Did you like my coastal themed buys? I would love to know what you think or if you know of any shops to add to this list. Share in the comments, I will read them all I promise.

Until next time.
There are lots more Fabulous Finds. Have you seen my collection of online jewellery shops and their beautiful products?
For future inspiration I will be happy to send you a little note to let you know when the next one has been created.
Please be aware. All opinions in this blog post are mine. At the time of writing I have not received any payment or free samples from the shops mentioned. Though I mention lots of shops here, you must form your own opinion as to whether their products are for you.
I aim to include only independently owned shops. Sometimes it is tricky to work out if they are. So, as far as I can tell, they are independently owned, but apologies if the odd one that is not slips into my blog post….they hide it well.Tags: Accessories, Gifts, Lifestyle, Shopping Inspiration, Shops
